Day 01 Arrive Bucharest By Flight
Arrival at Bucharest airport meet assist and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Bucharest –Curtea De Arges – Sibiu (290 Kms / 2H 25M appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to start your journey on Vlad the Impaler Dracula trail. Leave Bucharest region and go to Curtea de Arges, the former second capital of Wallachia. The strongholds rebuilt in the 14th century. See the Episcopal Church the monastery which is a recreation of the original built in 1512 -1517 by prince Neagoe Basarab. Then optional visit the Poenari Castle. Standing on a cliff but know in ruins this is known as the real castle of Dracula Vlad Tepes. To get to the top you must climb up its 1400 steps takes approx. 1 hour. Go on the route up to Sibiu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Sibiu – Alba Iulia – Hunedoara – Sibiu (385 Kms / 04H appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to Sibiu’s Old District. Sibiu is one of the most important fortified towns in Transylvania.. The city is reminiscent of old European cities such as Nuremburg and it was founded in 1190 and grew to be the chief city of the Transylvanian Saxons. This amazing town, with the “Old Town” The Big Square, the Small Square, the Ursuline Church, The Franciscan Church, The staircase Tower, the Tanners Tower, the Lier’s Bridge , the House of the Butcher’s Guild and last but not least with the amazing Bruckenthal Museum is a gorgeous place to see. Next stop will be at Alba Iulia. Having its origins back in 2nd century from Roman time, the city of Alba Iulia offers a journey through the history of Transylvania from ancient times to medieval and modern days. We’ll visit the ruins of the Roman town, the medieval fortifications, the modern fortifications made in Vauban style, the Cathoilc Cathedral – the oldest from Transylvania and the Reunion Cathedral which commemorates the Union of all Romanian provinces ina single country. Next stop will be at Hunedoara to visit the famous Hunyad Castle, the residence of the brave Transylvanian Governor – John Hunyad Iancu de Hunedoara. The castle built in XV century is the biggest medieval castle from Romania and it’s also considered one of the most haunted places from Europe. Return in the evening to Sibiu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Sibiu – Medias– Biertan – Sighisoara (116 Kms / 2H appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to route to Sighisoara. We’ll pass the town of Medias, famous for its 14the century Margareth Cathedral with the slanted “trompeths tower”. Next stop at Biertan Fortified Church, dating from XVI century and a former evanghelical bishops headquarter. In the afternoon visit the medieval citadel of Sighisoara. Also called “The Pearl of Transylvania” the old medieval city is include on UNESCO’s Word Heritage. The Old Town or the Citadel is the only one still inhabited in Europe – a lost world and still so at the present. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Sighisoara – Prejmer – Bra – Brasov (199 Kms / 03H 25M appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to Brasov area. The road will pass through beautiful german villages and one can admire their architecture and also couple citadels or churches which can be seen from the road as Rupea, Saschiz, Rotbav, aso. First stop will be at Prejmer Fortified Church, one of the best preserved of its kind in Eastern Europe. The church is modeled after churches of Jerusalem, as well as built in the style of Early Gothic churches from the Rhineland. The concept of a fortified church as it is presented an Prejmer is unique in Europe and can be seen only in Transylvania. Continue our tour to Bran and visit the famous Bran Castle. Also called Dracula`s Castle, it is situated not far from Brasov 25 kilometres at the entrance in the Bran – Rucar passage. The castle got its fame from Dracula`s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola.. The first documents about the Bran Castle appeared in 1377. Along the history, the Castle had a strategic mission being the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. First it was under the rule of the King of Hungary Sigismund of Luxemburg, of the Romanian voievodes Mircea cel Batran and Vlad Tepes and later on it came under the jurisdiction of the City of Brasov. In the XX century the castle was donated to the royal family and becamed a royal residence. The museum preserve the furniture and objects from that period. End the day in Brasov. Short tour of the magic medieval center of Brasov .The city of Brasov is one of the oldest in Europe, dating from 1235. During the Middle Ages, Brasov was known as a powerful fortress surrounded by high stone walls and defended by bulwarks, towers and other small fortresses. The buildings and the streets in the historical centre still preserve a medieval note. Concil Square, Black Church, White and Black Towers, Weaver’s Bastion and Ecaterina’s Gate are the tour highlights. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Brasov – Sinaia – Snagov – Bucharest (198 Kms / 2H 32M appx.)
Go to Sinaia and visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the Romanian kings. Peles castle is considered one of the best 10 castles of Europe. Then will go to Snagov, a small village north of Bucharest, with its beautiful sixteen kilometer long lake; In the centre of the lake is an island occupied by a monastery, built in 1519. The Snagov monastery is situated on the island of the lake with the same name, we have to reach the monastery by crossing the lake by boat If time and weather permit.
Visitors come here to seek the tomb of Dracula sitting in the front of the church altar. Vlad’s murder is believed to have occurred in the forests nearby, where the monks took his body, since both Vlad and his father had both given money to the monastery. Departure transfer to onward destination.

Day 01: Arrive Chennai by Flight
Arrive Chennai, you will be greeted by our representative which will be waiting for you at the airport & he will go till your hotel to brief you about the tour. Afternoon Visit Santhome Church, the International Shrine of St. Thomas Basilica later to Kapaleeshwarar Temple.

Later visit to Fort St George museum (which is closed on Friday) which has the relics of the British personnel who lived in this fort, next stop is Government Museum (Closed on Friday) whose highlight is the Bronze Gallery, which has a marvelous collection of South Indian bronzes which is from the 7th-century Pallava era. Overnight is at Chennai.

Day 02: Chennai – Kanchipuram (Silk Factory) – Chennai by Road
Morning transfer to Kanchipuram and check in at hotel.
Kanchipuram is the ancient capital of the Pallavas, it is a city of 1000 Temples and it still has 124 shrines there. In 7th and 8th century, the first temple of Lord Shiva is built and it has paintings on the walls. Temples of Varadarajaswamy, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi & Ekambaswara are of interest.

Kanchipuram is also famous for its silk. We will visit a Silk factory. The weaving of Kanchipuram silk sarees started around 400 years ago in the small temple town of Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. Back then, Kanchipuram sarees were woven by the descendants of Sage Markanda, who was considered to be the master weaver for the Gods. Kanchipuram sarees are known for their exuberance, appearance and style. Kanchipuram silk gives a very royal and luxury feeling. The luxurious weaves, soft fabric, classic sheen and the embellished zari work put the saree on a pedestal. They are also known as kanjivaram silk sarees and are woven from pure mulberry silk.

South India is the place where this pure mulberry silk comes from and Gujarat is the places where gold and silver Zari comes from. Kanchipuram saThe silk is called ‘pattu’ in Tamil and so the sarees are also called Kanchipuram pattu sarees.

Later return to Chennai & then transfer to the hotel.

Day 01: Arrive Jodhpur by Flight
Arrive Jodhpur, you will be greeted by our representative who will be waiting for you at the airport & he will transfer you to your hotel and will brief you about the tour. Rest of the day is free. Overnight is in Jodhpur.

Day 02: Jodhpur (Visit to Salawas Area)
After having your breakfast, visit Dhurrie Weaving in Jodhpur which is in Salawas area. Salawas is in the outskirts of Jodhpur. There are many varieties and the most famous one are: Interlock and camel wool dhurries. Four types of materials these dhurries are made up of are silk, wool, jute and cotton. The materials is first converted into thread and then woven into dhurries.

Rajasthan dhurries which are made at Salawas are also known as Ranja Dhurries and these dhurries are exported at a good scale. These dhurries are use according to its material, size and design.

The smallest one which is of size 12″ by 12″ is used as a table cover, can be used for telephone stands and flower vases. They are also made for doing meditation which come in sizes 24″ by 24″. Dhurrie can be used for packing or bedding, not only as a floor covering. They come in different color combinations and patterns as per the taste or occasion. One of the good quality is, they do not get infected by insects which damaged carpets.

After the tour, return back to the hotel & rest of the day is free.

Day 03: Jodhpur
After breakfast, Morning visit Bishnoi Village for Jeep ride: The Bishnoi’s are one of the different community of Rajasthan who loves nature and animals, they are also famous for their rich cultural Rajasthani Life Bishnoi Village Safari gives a glimpse of a true Rajasthan.

Afternoon you will visit the popular Meherangarh Fort – a huge complex standing at the hillside having good views of the Jodhpur’s old city and the beautiful Jaswant Thada. Later time is to visit the the local markets which is full of handicrafts, silver and textiles. Overnight Jodhpur.

Day 04: Jodhpur – onward journey by Flight

Arrive Jaipur, our representative will be there at the airport & drive with you to the hotel and help you check in and will brief you about travel. Rest of your day is at leisure. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 02: Jaipur (Visit Sanganer Industrial Area)
After breakfast, Morning begin your tour by drive to Sanganer which is famous place for block printing and screen printing on the cotton cloth. Colourful cloths with numerous folk patterns can be seen here for bed- covers, table covers etc. Due to its white background it stand out from other in this category. For outlines, black colour is used and for figures and floral motifs, red color is used.

There is a good history which goes back to around 500 years old of the Sanganeri prints. It began in 16 th /17 th centuries and Sanganer is known as block printing textiles production house by th end of 18 th century. Fine designs and delicate designs will be there on the Sanganeri prints. Today, Sanganer textile market have made a name of itself in India and the world for its distinct beldn of traditional styles of painting.

After the tour, return to the hotel. Day free at leisure.

Day 03: Jaipur
After having breakfast, today you will visit Amer Fort and Jaipur city. The journey begin by visiting of Amer fort which is 11 kms away from Jaipur city. Inside visit the fabulous Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors).

Later visit Jaipur city and stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds). After that your next place is Maharaja City Palace, a royal palace, later to Jantar Mantar, the observatory which is adjacent to it. This marvelous observatory is being attracted by mathematician as well as astronomers around the world. Overnight is in Jaipur.

Day 04: Departure Jaipur by Road or Flight
Depart Jaipur.

Day 01: Arrive Ahmedabad
Arrive Ahmedabad, our representative will be there at the airport & drive with you to the hotel. He will brief you about your travel. Rest of the day is free.

Day 02: Ahmedabad
After breakfast, morning begin the Heritage walking tour : An interesting aspect of Ahmedabad is how the old city is planned, comprising of numerous ‘Pols’, many self-contained neighborhoods, which shelter good numbers of people. Few of these ‘Pols’ are virtually small villages, coursed by small lanes, terminating in squares (Chowks) which consists of ‘Community Well’ as well as ‘Chabutro’ (for feeding birds).

These historic domestic settlements are explained in brief during the walking tour. Afternoon time is to visit a Pharmaceutical industry which is around Ahmedabad & then come back to the hotel. Rest Day is for leisure. Overnight stay is in Ahmedabad.

Day 03: Ahmedabad – Anand – Ahmedabad by Road (Approx. 75 Kms)
After breakfast, morning visit the Amul factory which is situated at Anand. This is a small town which has the history of producing milk and it has been more than 56 years. The unfair trade practices which was done by the local trade cartel caused off the cooperative movement. The farmers were not happy with unjust and practices which are manipulative, which are done by the traders, the farmers asked for the help from ‘’The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’’.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel then advised them to do get rid of the middlemens and make your own Co-Operative, which would have everything under their control. At this point in 1965, The National Dairy Development Board was made up, replicating The Amul Model. Dr. Kurien was chosen to become Its chairman and was asked to replicate this model everywhere in the country.

If there is time, then in the evening we will visit Akshardham to enjoy Sat-Chit-Anand Water Show. Day free for rest of the day. Overnight stay is in Ahmedabad.

Day 04: Ahmedabad – Sanand – Morbi by Road (Approx. 227 Kms)
After breakfast, morning drive to Sanand to travel to TATA NANO Factory. This Tata Nano plant marks the company’s goal of creating Tata Nano available to hundreds and thousands of families. Built-In a time record of only 14 Months, The facility comprises of Tata Motors’ own plant, cover about 725 Acres, and an its near to vendor park and cover 375 acres, to deal with component manufacturers for the Tata nano. They are aware of all the critical need of Environment Protection.

Later drive to Morbi and check in at the hotel. Day free for rest of the day. Overnight stay is in Morbi.

Day 05: Morbi – Ahmedabad by Road (Approx. 196 Kms)
After breakfast, visit Tiles manufacturing factory which is at Morbi. Later in afternoon drive to Ahmedabad & Check in at hotel. Day free for rest of the day.

Days 02 Marrakech – Ouirgane (By Road) (67 kms / 01 hr 23 min appx)
After breakfast, proceed to a short drive of Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains and our accommodation at La Roseraie. One of the most stunning locations in the Atlas, La Roseraie is a haven away from the bustle of the cities and daily life for many. Set among 26 hectares of gardens, the name comes in part from the numerous rose gardens that bring colour to the gardens at all times of year. The gardens also contain a huge variety of plants, from olive groves to long paths of flowering bushes and citrus orchards. Its easy to wander the gardens and get lost for the day here.We have left a lot of free time in this short itinerary, so you can enjoy the space and quiet in the mountains at leisure. There is a choice of activities available in the grounds of La Roseraie which are available to families staying here. Take a dip in the pool, try a game of tennis in this spectacular location or simply enjoy the views from your private terrace.The Ouirgane valley surrounds La Roseraie, and we have included a walk around the valley to get to see some of the villages and local culture in the area. A world away from our peace and quiet up in the mountains, Marrakech gives a very different perspective on Morocco, as we are surrounded by a city of noice, sounds, colours and smells very different to the mountain solitude.Why not spend the day wandering around Marrakech’s main square, Djemaa el Fna. When the sun goes down, watch it become a fun and crazy mix of dancers, fortune tellers and even snake charmers. Why not grab a table for dinner and spend your last night together with your group over a delicious meal of local Moroccan cuisine. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, today it is a long drive therefore we’ll leave at 8.00 AM. We’ll drive to Hunedoara in order to visit the biggest medieval castle from Romania – Hunyad Castle, dating since 14th century. Next we’ll drive to Sibiu – one of the most important medieval cities from Transylvania. Highlights: Big Square, Little Square, Orthodox and Evanghelic Cathedrals, Liars bridge, aso. Return to Brasov. Overnight at Brasov.

Day 04 Brasov – Rasnov – Bran–Bucharest (202 Kms / 3H 20M appx.)
Today we’ll visit two of the most fortified castles from south Transylvania. First one is Rasnov Fortress. Built in 1331, the Fortress had a defence role and it was a shelter for the inhabitants of Rasnov in case of enemy attacks. Continue your journey to Bran with it’s famous Bran castle. Also called Dracula’s Castle, the castle got its fame from Dracula’s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola. The first documents about the Bran Castle appeared in 1377. After the Bran Castle visit you can spend some time for souvenires shooping and then leave Transylvania and go back to Bucharest. The castle got its fame from Dracula’s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola. The first documents about the Bran Castle appeared in 1377. In the afternoon we’ll spend couple hours in Bran village area to learn more about the traditional life in a Romanian mountain village. Overnight at Brasov.

Day 02 Braso – Bicaz goeges – Gura Humorului (335 Kms / 5H 50M appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to walking tour of the medieval center of Brasov 2 hours. The city of Brasov is one of the oldest in Europe, dating from 1235. During the Middle Ages, Brasov was known as a powerful fortress surrounded by high stone walls and defended by bulwarks, towers and other small fortresses. The buildings and the streets in the historical centre still preserve a medieval note. Concil Square, Black Church, White and Black Towers, Weaver’s Bastion and Ecaterina’s Gate are the tour highlights. Next we’ll cross the Carpathians mountains heading north-east to one of the most famous and popular region of Romania – Bucovina, the land of painted monasteries. It is a very scenic road which offer amazing landscapes. We’ll pass Red Lake, Bicaz Gorges and Bicaz Lake on our way to Bucovina. In the afternoon arrive at Gura Humorului. Bucovina is also the land of very well preserved old tradition. Taste the delicious local cuisine. Overnight at Gura Humorului.

Day 03 Gura Humorului
After breakfast, proceed to explore the Bucovina region – the land of World famous Painted Monasteries. Voronet UNESCO: founded in 1488 by Stephen the Great . It is the most accomplished sample of artistic achievement in Moldavian architecture and painting . The doors of the porch have a Renaissance framing, whereas the stone carvings of the broken arches at the doors and windows belong to the Gothic style. Voronet Monastery had been dubbed the oriental Sistine Chapel , whereas Voronet Blue , a color obtained from lapis lazuli, entered in the lexicon of art alongside Titian red and Veronese green, and to this day has yet to be reproduced by natural means. Moldovita UNESCO: dates back from 1532 and is due to the ruling prince Petru Rares It has the aspect of a fortress, with imposing towers and high, thick walls. The church has a three-cusped plan, as well as an open porch. It Is decorated with scenes from the 16th c Moldavian life. You can see here the best preserved frescoes, with fresh and vivid colors. Sucevita: the last and the most magnificent monastic achievement among the painted monasteries in Bucovina , looks as a real fortress, with towers, buttresses and watch roads. Built in 1581, by one bishop, it was dedicated to the Assumption in 1584. Paintings of the Sucevita monastery were best preserved both on the outside and on the inside Ladder of Virtue, the last Judgment, the tree of Jesse. Beside the old and beautiful monasteries we’ll also dedicate some time to visit local craftsmens as: a painted eggs museum and workshop, Marginea pottery center, aso. Return to Gura Humoruluil. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Gura Humorului – Maramures (249 Kms / 04H 52M appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to Maramures, the northern region of Romania, the land of wooden churches and well preserved traditions. Today we’ll visit the wooden church from Ieud, the oldest wooden building from Europe, built in 14-een century. At Dragomiresti we’ll visit the Maramures Woman Museum, where you can learn about maramuresean traditions and way of live. According with the time we’ll go to explore a countryside area of old and isolated villages with low influence of modern times. Visit some local craftsmens. Overnight at Maramuresean.

Day 05 Maramures – Sighisoara (253 Kms / 04H 23M appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to explore Maramures visiting Barsana Monastery and also driving to an authentic countrisede area with old villages and craftsmens. Visit an old worksop and a local household.
Then we’ll depart from Maramures region back to Transylvania. Stop at Sighisoara UNESCO, also caled “The Pearl of Transylvania” a wonderful medieval city where you can stil enjoy the medieval atmosphere. The citadel built in 13th century by German saxon settlers it was an important cultural and artist center in medieval period. The old town is considered one of the best preserved medieval towns from Europe and its included in the UNESCO heritages list. Overnight at Sighisoara.

Day 06 Sighisoara – Sibiu  (93 Kms / 01H 37M appx.)
After breakfast, proceed to visit Sighisoara: Church on the hill, Clock Tower, Tinsmiths Tower, Covered Stairs, aso are the most important sights. Depart from Sighisoara on a route which is crossing very old villages inspired by saxon’s architecture. You may find more details visiting places as Biertan or Malancrav. We’ll arrive at Sibiu, the oldest and the biggest medieval city from Transylvania and former capital. Visit the center of Sibiu. Day 02 Bucharest – Tulcea By Road 279 Kms / 3H 26M appx.
After breakfast, proceed to start a city tour of Bucharest. Highlights: Parliament Palace optional inside visit, Royal Palace, Revolution Square, Atheneum, Victory Palace, Triumph Arch, Old District. Then we’ll go on the route to Tulcea a city on Danube River and the place where the Danube Delta starts. Overnight at Tulcea.

Day 03 Tulcea
After breakfast, proceed to half day boat tour of Danube Delta – the last wild delta of Europe, the home of a fascinating mix of cultures and peoples—and a huge diversity of birds, presided over by the greatest of them all, the pelican. You will have the opportunity to see such birds as glossy ibis, spoonbills, pelicans, rollers, white tailed eagle and more. Enjoy a traditional lunch. Return in the afternoon to Tulcea. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Tulcea – Gura Humorului By Road 450 Kms / 6H 37M appx.
After breakfast, proceed to Bucovina – the land of the UNESCO painted monasteries. Depending of time we may have an optional stop at the Neamt Citadel. Overnight at Gura Humorului.

Black Pottery Centre from Marginea village, famous for its black earthenware pottery renowned to date back to the ancient Dacian pre-Roman period. Humor Monastery: dates from 1530, this monastery was among the first churches to be painted , the frescoes were painted in 1535. Humor is painted in reddish brown from oriental madder pigment, colors are brilliant and truthful to nature. Return to Gura Humorului. Overnight at Gura Humorului.

Day 06 Gura Humorului – Viseu – Sighetu By Road 230 kms / 4H 15M appx.
After breakfast, proceed to visit Maramures County, maybe the most beautiful region of Romania – Maramures – the land of traditions and wooden churches. First stop at Ieud where we can visit the oldest wodden church made in to the 14th century UNESCO. Don’t miss the Maramures’s Woman Museum from Dragomiresti, where you can learn about maramuresean traditions and way of live. only if time will allow. Overnight at Sighetu Marmatiei.

Day 07 Sighetu – Sapanta – Sighisoara By Road 298 Kms / 5H 29M appx.
After breakfast, proceed to Museum of Comunist Horror, a former communist prison where a lot of politicians, teachers, artists, students died because they was opponents of the new communist govern after War World II. We’ll continue our visit with a stop at Sapanta and visit the famous Merry Cemetery, truly one of the most unique sites in Europe. It is famous for its colourful tombstones with native paintings describing, in an original and poetic manner, the persons that are buried there as well as scenes from their lives. The Merry Cemetery became an open-air museum and a national tourist attraction. Our route will go then to Sighisoara. We’ll cross the heart of Transylvania on the way to Sighisoara. The road will guide us through beautiful mountains and hills area and you’ll have the complete picture of what the Transylvanian landscape is and why it is called – The green country. Optional stop at Turda Salt Mine, dating from ancient times. End the day in Sighisoara, one of the most preserved medieval city from Europe. Situated in Mures County, on the valley of the Tarnava Mare river, Sighisoara former Dacian settlement and also called “the pearl of Transylvania” was founded by the German immigrants in the second half of the 12th century and it was turned into a city in 1407. Its medieval aspect may be found both in the centre of the city and inside the Fortress of Sighisoara. In this area, houses are built very close to one another, giving a sense of “crowdedness” in order to occupy the least space possible. Overnight at Sighisoara.

Day 08 Sighisoara –Bierten – Sibiu By Road 136 Kms / 2H 45M appx.
saxon’s stellers in 13th century and it was an important trade, cultural and religious centre. Main sights are: Clock Tower and History musum, Birthplace of Vlad the Impaler the famos and cruel Romanian prince, Church on the Hill, Covered Stairs, a.s.o. Then we’ll leave the citadel. Next we’ll go to Biertan, nowdays a small village but 500 years ago the headqurter of evangelical bishops from Transylvania. Biertan Fortified Church, built in 16th century is the second largest fortress of its kind from Transylvania.
In the afternoon we’ll arrive in Sibiu and we’ll make a city tour. Sibiu – a former capital is one of the most important cities from Transylvania. The Big Square, the Small Square, the Ursuline Church, The Franciscan Church, The staircase Tower, the Tanners Tower, the Lier’s Bridge, the House of the Butcher’s Guild and Bruckenthal Museum are the most important sights. Overnight at Sibiu.

Day 09 Sibiu – Hunedoara – Alba iulia – Sibiu By Road 295 Kms / 4H 15M appx.
After breakfast, proceed to Hunedoara and we’ll visit the Hunyad’s Castle. The most representative castle in this part of Transylvania was built in 14th century and became famous as a property of Iancu of Hunedoara, the great ruller and fighter against the Ottoman Empire at that time. Built in the 14th century, on the place of an old fortification, on a rock below which flows the small river Zlasti the castle is a large building, with tall and diversely coloured roofs, towers, windows and balconies adorned with carvings in stone. Next stop at Alba Iulia. Having its origins back in 2nd century from Roman time, the city of Alba Iulia offers a journey through the history of Transylvania from ancient times to medieval and modern days. We’ll visit the ruins of the Roman town, the medieval fortifications, the modern fortifications made in Vauban style, the Cathoilc Cathedral – the oldest from Transylvania and the Reunion Cathedral which commemorates the Union of all Romanian provinces in a single country. Return in the evening to Sibiu. Overnight at Sibiu.

Day 10 Sibiu – Bran – Rasnov – Prejmer – Brasov By Road 218 Kms /  3H 20M appx.
After breakfast, proceed to Brasov area, the South-Eastern area of Transylvania and probably the most important tourist area from Romania. First stop at Bran Castle. Also called Dracula`s Castle, it is situated not far from Brasov 25 kilometres at the entrance in the Bran – Rucar passage. The castle got its fame from Dracula`s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola.. The first documents about the Bran Castle appeared in 1377. Along the history, the Castle had a strategic mission being the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. First it was under the rule of the King of Hungary Sigismund of Luxemburg, of the Romanian voievodes Mircea cel Batran and Vlad Tepes and later on it came under the jurisdiction of the City of Brasov. In the XX century the castle was donated to the royal family and becamed a royal residence. Then go for a visit at Rasnov Fortress. Built in 1331, the Fortress had a defence role and it was a shelter for the inhabitants of Rasnov in case of enemy attacks. In the middle of the courtyard there is a well 146 metres deep and the ruins of an 11th – 12th century – Orthodox church were discovered here. Nowadays the Fortress houses an interesting museum. Next we’ll stop at Prejmer fortified church, the biggest fortress of its kind from East Europe. the biggest fortified church in the Southeastern Europe built in the 14th century. The fortress has double walls and dungeons. Inside its walls there is a church, but the interesting thing here is the honeycomb like inner wall. Every family had one small room for sheltering in case the village was attacked. End the day in Brasov. Overnight at Brasov.

Day 11 Brasov – Sinaia – Bucharest By Road 1 Kms / 02H 55M appx.
After breakfast, proceed to exploring the medieval center of Brasov. The city of Brasov is one of the oldest in Europe, dating from 1235. During the Middle Ages, Brasov was known as a powerful fortress surrounded by high stone walls and defended by bulwarks, towers and other small fortresses.A walking tour through the 8 centuries history of the city. Highlights: Council Square, Black Church, Weaver’s Bastion, St. Ecaterina’s Gate, Black and White Towers, medieval wall. On the way to Bucharest we’ll stop in Sinaia with a visit at Peles Castle, former summer residence of the kings of Romania, the Peles Castle is probably the most beautiful castle from Romania hiding inside great decorations, furniture in a mix of styles from German to Italian and from Moorish to Indian. Built at the end of 19th the Peles Castle was one of the most modern castles from its time. The museum host also ornamental objects, carpets, tapestry, sculptures, paintings, collections of weapons from the 15th up to the19th centuries. Late afternoon we’ll arrive to Bucharest. Overnight at Bucharest.
