Amman is the capital and largest city of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with a population of more than four million. Amman forms a great base for exploring not just Jordan, but the wider region as well and does, despite popular belief, offer much that is of interest to the traveller. The city is generally reasonably well-organized, enjoys great weather for much of the year and the people are very friendly.

Day 01 Arrive Amman
Arrival at Amman International Airport (called Queen Alia Airport) – meet, assist and transfer to hotel. overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Amman
After breakfast, Proceed to Jerash, where you will immerse yourself in the remains of the ancient Roman Empire. You will then continue by a visit to Ajloun, a military fort designed to protect the region against Crusaders invasions, built by a nephew of the legendary leader Saladin, in 1184/1185. Continue to Soap house in Ajloun, where you can see the local women how they hand-makes 17 different varieties of soap using olive oil and organically home-grown herbs, and never uses harmful synthetic chemicals, preservatives, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrance oils. All of our handmade soaps are made in small batches to ensure the quality and freshness of each batch. Later; you will stop by the biscuit house, to see the locals make tasty olive oil and molasses biscuits. By end of the day you will be driven back to your hotel in Amman for dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Amman – Dead Sea(By Road)(60 kms / 01 hrs 20 min appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to visit Madaba, the « City of Mosaics”, and its “Church of the Map”. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses spent his last moments before dying. You can imagine yourself at his place, observing the Promised Land. will be transferred to you hotel in the dead sea. You will have the privilege to experience the effects of a natural curiosity – the Dead Sea. You will be able to cover yourself with its unique revitalizing black mud and let the salty water carry you. Enjoy the incredible buoyancy effect. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Dead Sea – Petra(By Road)(137 kms / 02 hrs 20 min appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to the spend the whole day in Petra, renowned as the most famous and the most exceptional site in Jordan. This ancient city is the legacy of the Nabateans, an Arab people settled in Jordan over 2000 years ago. It is today one of the 7 New Wonders of the World. There, you will admire the Khazneh, also called the “Treasury”, as well as the Amphitheatre, the Royal Tombs, the Monastery and many other amazing buildings carved in the rock. After this wonderful visit, transfer to the hotel in Petra. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Petra – Wadi Rum(By Road)(105 kms / 02 hrs 02 min appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to the Al-Beidah, the caravanserai of Petra, also known as the “Little Petra”. You will be transferred to the “Valley of the Moon”. Wadi Rum is the most impressive desert in the world and it gained its fame through its special link with British officer T.E. Lawrence, often referred to as “Lawrence of Arabia”. There, you will have a 2 hours 4×4 jeep tour to explore one of the most extraordinary natural landscapes you will ever see, with its rocky mountains and its red sand. By late afternoon you will enter a Bedouin camp for dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Wadi Rum – Amman(By Road) (310 kms / 03 hrs 02 min appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to Amman to enjoy a city tour of Amman, the old and new capital of Jordan. You will discover this incredible city, starting your visit by the Citadel and the Omayyad Palace, before proceeding to the archeological museum, the Roman amphitheatre and the folklore museum. The city tour continues with a visit of the old city of Amman (Downtown) walk in the down street and have an experience to taste the Arabic sweet (Kunafeh), have a shopping, then; proceed to Al Lwaibdeh street, for Arts lovers, they would like to visit Darat Al Funun, also you will visit the Paris Circle. At evening you will have a time to walk at Rainbow street through Souck Jara, and maybe you would like to taste the Falafel, visit the book shop & Jordan River designs and Bain Hamida (Two local crafts galleries), by end of the day, driven back to your hotel in Amman. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Depart Amman
Departure transfer to onwards destination.

– In Asia, there is no relevance between the distance and time of travelling, as it depends upon the condition of the roads and congestion of the traffic.
– While every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary, in view of local strikes etc that are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries are subject to last moment changes.
– Clients must be fully insured, as the company cannot accept liability for loss or damage to client’s property, medical emergencies or any other loss suffered by them whilst on tour.
– In Case of issuing Domestic or International air tickets, SGV is not responsible for any refund if the flight is delayed or cancelled, as it is the responsibility of airline.
