Cameroon is in West Africa. It borders Nigeria to the west, Chad to the northeast, the Central African Republic to the east and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of the Congo to the south.While Cameroon is not the largest country in Africa, in some ways it’s as large as Africa itself. Known as “Africa in miniature” it features French and English speaking portions, Muslim and Christian dominated regions, the tallest mountain in West Africa and terrain that includes rain forest, desert plains, mountains and high plateau.

Day 01 Arrive Yaounde By Flight
Arrival at the Yaounde airport meet assist and transfer to hotel.Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Yaounde 
After breakfast excursion to the Mfou park to view primates especially gorillas and chimpanzees. Return to Yaoundé, continue city tour.Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Yaounde – Bafoussam – Petpenoun (336 Kms / 5H appx.)
After breakfast Proceed to the region of the western chiefdoms of Cameroon. Our first stop is at Bandjoun, one of the biggest kingdoms of the Bamileke region. Here you visit the palace museum and the traditional round house before driving through Bafoussam, the capital city of the West province to Petpenoun. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Petpenoun – Foumban – Bamenda (294 Kms / 4H 25M appx.)
After breakfast Proceed to Foumban, visit the palace of the sultan of the Bamoun people with its rich historic museum and later, the craft village. Drive to Bamenda via Koutaba and Bafoussam. Visit road attractions such as the Metche waterfalls. Drive to visit the palace of the fon of Bafut: Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Bamenda – Dschang – Melong (144 Kms / 3H 15M appx.)
After breakfast, visit the Bamenda food market and drive through DSc hang down the “falaise” to Melong. Visit the Ekom waterfalls. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Melong – Buea – Limbe By (204 Kms / 4H 15M appx.)
After breakfast transfer through the banana plantations of Njombe, the rubber and oil palm plantations of the CDC to Buea, the former capital of Cameroon during German colonisation. Visit sites before driving down to Limbe.Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Limbe – Kribi (244 Kms / 4H 30M appx.)
After breakfast visit the lava flow site of the 1999 eruption of Mount Cameroon and the Limbe wildlife centre before transferring to Kribi via Douala. Kribi is the best seaside resort town of Cameroon. Evening relax on the fine sand beaches near the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Kribi – Douala (170 Kms / 03H appx.)
After breakfast visit the Lobe waterfalls and take a boat ride on the Lobe river to visit a pygmy village; rest of the day relaxing on the beach; afternoon transfer to Douala. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Depart Douala
Departure transfer to onward destination.

– In Asia, there is no relevance between the distance and time of travelling, as it depends upon the condition of the roads and congestion of the traffic.
– While every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary, in view of local strikes etc that are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries are subject to last moment changes.
– Clients must be fully insured, as the company cannot accept liability for loss or damage to client’s property, medical emergencies or any other loss suffered by them whilst on tour.
– In Case of issuing Domestic or International air tickets, SGV is not responsible for any refund if the flight is delayed or cancelled, as it is the responsibility of airline.
