We’ll drive through the main squares and avenues of the city, pass by the residence building where Lee Harvey Oswald (the alleged assassin of J.F. Kennedy) lived in the period from 1959 – 1962, see the Catholic and Orthodox Churches of the 17 th – 18 th centuries, memorials to the soldiers and victims of the World War II and Afghan War, reconstructed historic centre of the city – the Upper Town, the oldest street Nemig In the afternoon an excursion to the Museum of Everyday Life and Folk Architecture of the Republic of Belarus in Strochitsa – a pretty tiny village situated on the picturesque banks of the River Ptich 18 km from Minsk.

The castle was destroyed and rebuilt several times during its turbulent history. The final restoration and reconstruction works were completed in 2011.
